* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...North Central Caldwell County in western North Carolina... * WHEN...Until 745 PM EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... At 438 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1.5 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. Locally heavy rainfall over the Yadkin River near Patterson and Happy Valley is producing excessive runoff which may lead to isolated to nuisance flooding of small streams feeding the Yadkin River and Mulberry Creek may be imminent.
