* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...East Central Davidson County in central North Carolina... * WHEN...Until 500 PM EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... At 242 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated the heavy rain due to thunderstorms has resulted in up to 4 inches of rain east of Lexington. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Some locations that will experience flooding include... Lexington, Thomasville, Linwood and Gordontown.
