Southeastern Granville County in central North Carolina... Northeastern Harnett County in central North Carolina... Johnston County in central North Carolina... Southern Vance County in central North Carolina... Wake County in central North Carolina... * WHEN...Until 315 PM EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... At 108 PM EDT, gauge reports indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This is causing urban and small stream flooding, including parts of the Raleigh metro area. Overflowing poor drainage areas have already caused minor flooding in the advisory area. Some locations that will experience flooding include... Raleigh, Smithfield, Oxford, Creedmoor, Louisburg, Wake Forest, Garner, Clayton, Zebulon, Angier, Franklinton, Kittrell, Bunn, Knightdale, Selma, Wendell and Rolesville. http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
