* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Central McDowell County in western North Carolina... * WHEN...Until 445 AM EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... At 1047 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1.5 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. Some locations that will experience flooding include... Marion, Old Fort, Pleasant Gardens and Woodlawn. http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
