* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Central New Hanover County in southeastern North Carolina... * WHEN...Until 830 PM EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... At 519 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Some locations that will experience flooding include... Wilmington, University Of North Carolina At Wilmington, Kings Grant, Windemere, Wilmington International Airport, Masonboro, Murrayville, Silver Lake, Ogden, Cape Fear Hospital and New Hanover Regional Medical Center. weather.gov/safety/flood
