Your message should describe the specific location, address, or intersection where impacts occurred and the depth of flooding observed. Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding.

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...Polk County in western North Carolina... Southeastern Rutherford County in western North Carolina... * WHEN...Until 1145 PM EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Water over roadways. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... At 920 PM EDT, While no additional heavy rainfall is expected, high water levels from the previous heavy rainfall will slowly work its way through creeks and streams. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Jim Dobbins Road is closed due to water over the bridge from Grays Creek. Some locations that will experience flooding include... Forest City, Rutherfordton, Columbus, Spindale, Tryon, Ellenboro, Bostic, Alexander Mills, Green Creek, Harris, Mill Spring, Caroleen and Lake Adger. http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
