* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Southern Rowan County in the piedmont of North Carolina... * WHEN...Until 1030 AM EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... At 726 AM EDT, After a 2 to 3 inch rainfall early this morning around greater Salisbury, developing flooding of area streams and creeks is likely. Watch for the typically flooding of low-lying areas along Grants and Town Creeks. Localized urban and type and poor draining flooding around Salisbury is expected as well. Some locations that will experience flooding include... Salisbury, China Grove, Spencer, Granite Quarry, Rockwell, Faith and High Rock Lake. http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
