* WHAT...Urban area and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Sampson County in central North Carolina... Southwestern Wayne County in central North Carolina... * WHEN...Until 700 PM EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... At 307 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen in some locations. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. Some locations that will experience flooding include... Goldsboro, Clinton, Mount Olive, Walnut Creek, Harrells, Roseboro, Garland, Newton Grove, Salemburg, Turkey, Autryville, Seven Springs, Hobbton, Grantham, Brogden, Mar- Mac, Ivanhoe, Cliffs Of The Neuse State Park and Elroy. http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
