* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Southern Logan County in west central Nebraska... * WHEN...Until 1215 AM CDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Water over roadways. Overflowing poor drainage areas. Some low-water crossings may become impassable. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... At 812 PM CDT, local law enforcement reported heavy rain in Stapleton due to thunderstorms. Overflowing poor drainage areas have already caused minor flooding in Stapleton. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. Stapleton and areas to the north are the most likely place to experience minor flooding. Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is expected. Some locations that will experience flooding include... Stapleton, Gandy, Tarboz Lake, Shanklin Bluff and Hoagland. http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
