* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Northeastern Bergen County in northeastern New Jersey... Southeastern Orange County in southeastern New York... Rockland County in southeastern New York... Northern Westchester County in southeastern New York... * WHEN...Until 200 PM EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... At 1104 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.5 and 1 inch of rain has fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. Some locations that will experience flooding include... New City, Ossining, Peekskill, Monsey, Nanuet, Haverstraw, Mount Kisco, Suffern, Nyack, Sloatsburg, Pearl River, Orangeburg, Pomona, Upper Nyack, Yorktown Heights, Spring Valley, Stony Point, West Haverstraw, River Vale and Valley Cottage. http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
