* WHAT...Arroyo and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of Dona Ana County in south central New Mexico. * WHEN...Until 1015 PM MDT. * IMPACTS...Dangerous flows over low-water crossings. Water over roadways. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... At 914 PM MDT, Another round of thunderstorms is quickly moving across areas east of Las Cruces, dropping up to another half inch of rain in very short amount of time. Given saturated soils, this will be enough to cause short-lived minor flooding at several low water crossings, especially in the Talavera area. Some locations that may experience flooding include... Talavera, East Mesa and eastern Las Cruces. http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
