* WHAT...Arroyo and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of central Grant County in southwest New Mexico. * WHEN...Until 845 PM MDT. * IMPACTS...Rises in normally dry arroyos. Dangerous flows over low-water crossings. Water over roadways. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... At 538 PM MDT, Thunderstorms have produced 1 to 1.5 inches of rain over rural areas south of State Highway 90. This will cause numerous canyons and arroyos to flow, likely inundating low water crossings on backroads in the area, including Separ Road and Gage Road.
