* WHAT...Small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...South Tularosa Canyon and vicinity in Otero County in New Mexico. * WHEN...Until 545 PM MDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... At 242 PM MDT, Slow moving thunderstorms have produced over an inch of rain in South Tularosa Canyon, mostly above Head Springs, and mostly above the small dams above Eight Canyon. Minor flows are still likely. Some locations that may experience flooding include... Mescalero, South Tularosa Canyon, Eight Canyon, Firman Lake and Horse Spring. http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
