* WHAT...Small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Portion central Otero County in south central New Mexico... * WHEN...Until 230 PM MDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Rises in small streams and normally dry arroyos. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... At 1236 PM MDT, A small but persistent thunderstorm has produced heavy rainfall over the Rio Penasco near and just upstream of Wills Canyon. This will result in minor flooding downstream of Wills Canyon. Between 1 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen over a small area. Some locations that will experience flooding include...
