* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Portions of Northern Otero County in New Mexico. * WHEN...Until 545 PM MDT. * IMPACTS...Rises in small streams and normally dry arroyos. Water over roadways. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... At 236 PM MDT, Slow moving thunderstorms south of Cloudcroft have produced over an inch of rain south of Russia Canyon and near High Nogal. Runoff will work its way towards Cox Canyon and the Rio Penasco, where heavy rain fell earlier today. Some locations that may experience flooding include... Cox Canyon, Benson Ridge and Karr Canyon. http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
