* WHAT...Arroyo and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Eastern Quay County in east central New Mexico... * WHEN...Until 1030 PM MDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Rises in small streams and normally dry arroyos. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... At 725 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to a stationary thunderstorm near Nara Visa. This will cause arroyo and small stream flooding. Between 1.25 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.25 inches are expected over the area.
