* WHAT...Arroyo and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Northern Socorro County in central New Mexico... * WHEN...Until 815 PM MDT. * IMPACTS...Rises in small streams and normally dry arroyos. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... At 519 PM MDT, A trained weather spotter reported heavy flows in the Water Canyon arroyo between Lemitar and Socorro due to heavy rain from a thunderstorm mid this afternoon. Between 0.5 and 1.25 inches of rain fell. Some locations that may experience flooding include... Escondida. http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
