* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Douglas County in western Nevada along US-395, including Genoa, Minden-Gardnerville, Holbrook Junction, and Topaz Lake. * WHEN...Until 330 PM PDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... At 1224 PM PDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.5 and 1 inch of rain has fallen. Some locations that will experience flooding include... Gardnerville, Topaz Lake, Gardnerville Ranchos, Johnson Lane, Junction U.S 395 And NV 756, Mount Siegel, Gardnerville Ranch, Minden, Junction Nv 88 And Nv 756, Minden-Tahoe Airport, Junction Nv 88 And Nv 206, Mount Como, Holbrook Junction and Topaz Lake Campground. http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
