* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of northwest Nevada, including the following county, Humboldt. * WHEN...Until 1230 AM PDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... At 931 PM PDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.4 and 1.3 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.3 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. Some locations that will experience flooding include... Bloody Run Peak and Granite Peak just north of Winnemucca. Ponding of water is possible on Highway 95 roughly 10 to 15 miles north of Winnemucca. http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
