* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...A portion of southeast New York, including the following county, Putnam. * WHEN...Until 545 PM EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. River or stream flows are elevated. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... At 332 PM EDT, a National Weather Service meteorologist reported flooding around Brookside Drive in Continental Village from Canopus Creek. Additional showers and thunderstorms into this afternoon have the potential to prolong the flooding within the advisory area. Some locations that will experience flooding include...
