...The National Weather Service in Norman has issued a Flood Advisory for the following rivers in Oklahoma... North Canadian River near Yukon affecting Oklahoma and Canadian Counties. * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...North Canadian River near Yukon. * WHEN...From this morning to late Friday night. * IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, Areas of shallow overflows extend along the North Canadian River valley from near Banner Road... downstream to the headwaters of Lake Overholser. The areas most affected are low-lying agricultural and suburban areas... oilfield facilities... and local roads. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... At 7:30 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 13.2 feet. Bankfull stage is 11.0 feet. Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.5 feet this afternoon. Action stage is 11.0 feet. Flood stage is 14.0 feet. http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
