...The National Weather Service in Norman has issued a Flood Advisory for the following rivers in Oklahoma... Salt Fork Red River near Mangum affecting Jackson and Greer Counties. For the Salt Fork Red River...including Mangum...elevated river levels are forecast. Additional information is available at www.weather.gov. The next statement will be issued this evening at 830 PM CDT. * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Salt Fork Red River near Mangum. * WHEN...From this morning to Friday evening. * IMPACTS...At 9.0 feet, Expect flooding of agricultural bottomlands and isolation of other low-lying areas in Harmon... Greer... and Jackson counties. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... At 7:45 AM CDT Wednesday the stage was 1.5 feet. Bankfull stage is 9.0 feet.
