* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Berkeley County in southeastern South Carolina... Colleton County in southeastern South Carolina... Dorchester County in southeastern South Carolina... * WHEN...Until 700 PM EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Overflowing poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... At 504 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms with torrential rainfall extending from Bells Crossroads and Texas northeast into Moncks Corner, Saint Stephen and Jamestown. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches could fall through 7 PM, resulting in minor flooding of low-lying and poor drainage areas. Some locations that will experience flooding include... Moncks Corner, Saint George, Givhans Ferry State Park, Dorchester, Colleton, Ridgeville, Saint Stephen, Harleyville and Bonneau.
