* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...Northwestern Calhoun County in central South Carolina... Southeastern Lexington County in central South Carolina... Northwestern Orangeburg County in central South Carolina... * WHEN...Until 1100 PM EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... At 912 PM EDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is already occurring in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. Some locations that will experience flooding include... Orangeburg, Brookdale, St. Matthews, Sandy Run, Swansea, North, Springfield, Neeses, Norway, Woodford, Livingston, Prince of Orange Mall, Edisto and Fort Motte. This includes Interstate 26 between mile markers 125 and 146. http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
