* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...Charleston County in southeastern South Carolina... Colleton County in southeastern South Carolina... Dorchester County in southeastern South Carolina... * WHEN...Until 1000 PM EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Overflowing poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... At 859 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated showers and thunderstorms gradually diminishing along the US-17 corridor. Between 2 and 4 inches of rain have fallen this evening. Additional amounts should average less than 1 inch. Minor flooding is likely in progress in many areas and the risk will continue through 10 PM. Some locations that will experience flooding include... Summerville, Johns Island, West Ashley, Hollywood, Ravenel, Meggett, Jacksonboro, Adams Run and Ashepoo.
