Your message should describe the specific location, address, or intersection where impacts occurred and the depth of flooding observed. Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding.

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Northeastern Chester County in upstate South Carolina... Southeastern York County in upstate South Carolina... * WHEN...Until 345 AM EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Water over roadways. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... At 1239 AM EDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 2 and 2.5 inches of rain have fallen. Some locations that will experience flooding include... Rock Hill, Chester, Fort Mill, Newport, Lesslie, Fort Lawn, Mcconnells, Richburg, Lowrys, Catawba, Lake Wylie and Edgemoor. http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
