* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...Northern Darlington County in northeastern South Carolina... Marlboro County in northeastern South Carolina... * WHEN...Until 800 PM EDT. * IMPACTS...Water over roadways. Overflowing poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... At 633 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Up to 4 inches of rain have fallen between Hartsville and the Chesterfield County line. Additional rainfall amounts up to 2 inches are possible over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. Some locations that will experience flooding include... Bennettsville, Hartsville, Mccoll, Clio, Chavistown, North Hartsville, Kellytown, Society Hill, Blenheim, Tatum and Carolina Pines Regional Medical Center. weather.gov/safety/flood
