* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Northeastern Greenville County in upstate South Carolina... Northwestern Spartanburg County in upstate South Carolina... * WHEN...Until 1000 PM EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Water over roadways. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... At 405 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. Areas of greatest concern include Beaver Dam Creek and Campbell Creek near HWY 14 and SC 414. Some locations that will experience flooding include... Landrum, Inman, Campobello, Lake Robinson, Tigerville, Lake Bowen, Gowensville, Glassy Mountain and North Saluda Reservoir. http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
