* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Southeastern Orangeburg County in central South Carolina... * WHEN...Until 1245 PM EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... At 1057 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. Some locations that will experience flooding include... Holly Hill, Santee State Park, Santee, Eutawville, Vance, Mill Creek Marina and Campground, Indian Bluff Recreation Park, Eautaw Springs, Blounts Landing and Rocks Pond Campground and Marina. This includes the following highways... Interstate 95 between mile markers 85 and 99. Interstate 26 between mile markers 166 and 169. http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
