* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Blount County in east Tennessee... Southeastern Loudon County in east Tennessee... Northeastern Monroe County in east Tennessee... * WHEN...Until 900 AM EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... At 549 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Overflowing poor drainage areas will cause minor flooding in the advisory area. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. Some locations that will experience flooding include... Maryville, Alcoa, Rockford, Eagleton Village, Greenback, Friendsville, Townsend and Happy Valley. http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
