* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...Southwestern Blount County in east Tennessee... Central Monroe County in east Tennessee... * WHEN...Until 145 PM EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Water over roadways. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... At 1220 PM EDT, local law enforcement reported minor flooding continuing in and around Madisonville, TN due to recent rainfall. Between 2 and 5 inches of rain have fallen since this morning. Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are possible over the area over the next few hours. This additional rain will likely result in minor flooding. Some locations that will experience flooding include... Madisonville, Tariffville, Citico Beach, Citico, Talassee and Mount Vernon. http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
