* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Northeastern Campbell County in east Tennessee... Claiborne County in east Tennessee... Northwestern Grainger County in east Tennessee... Western Hancock County in east Tennessee... Eastern Scott County in east Tennessee... Northern Union County in east Tennessee... Southwestern Lee County in southwestern Virginia... * WHEN...Until noon EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Water over roadways. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... At 1000 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. Some locations that will experience flooding include... La Follette, New Tazewell, Tazewell, Harrogate, Jellico, Sharps Chapel, Clairfield, Springdale, Sandlick and Arthur. http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
