* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of West Tennessee, including the following counties, Chester, Hardin, Henderson and McNairy. * WHEN...Until 415 AM CDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... At 109 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 2 and 2.5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1.5 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. Some locations that will experience flooding include... Selmer, Adamsville, Sardis, Morris Chapel, Jacks Creek, Shiloh, Reagan, Crump, Scotts Hill, Bethel Springs, Michie, Finger, Stantonville, Milledgeville, Enville, Good Hope, Hickory Flats, Old Lawton, Gilchrist and New Lawton. http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
