* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Central McMinn County in east Tennessee... Northwestern Monroe County in east Tennessee... * WHEN...Until 700 AM EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... At 511 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain. Overflowing poor drainage areas will cause minor flooding in the advisory area. Some locations that will experience flooding include... Athens, Sweetwater, Madisonville, Englewood, Vonore, Niota, Mount Vernon, Clear Water, Fort Loudon State Park and McGee Carson Peninsula. http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
