* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Northeastern Meigs County in east Tennessee... Northeastern Rhea County in east Tennessee... Southwestern Roane County in east Tennessee... * WHEN...Until 1045 PM EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... At 740 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. Some locations that will experience flooding include... Rockwood, Fairview, Spring City, Eagle Furnace, Ten Mile, Peakland, Grandview, Paint Rock and Piney Falls State Park. http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
