* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...A portion of West Tennessee, including the following county, Shelby. * WHEN...Until 500 PM CDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... At 407 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. Some locations that will experience flooding include... Bartlett, Southaven, Collierville, Germantown, Olive Branch, Millington, Cordova, Memphis, Lakeland, Arlington, Ellendale, Eads, Southeast Memphis, Atoka, Elmore Park, Lenow, Brunswick, Spring Lake, Raleigh and White Station. http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
