* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...A portion of southeast Texas, including the following county, Brazoria. * WHEN...Until 300 PM CDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... At 216 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Up to 4 inches of rain have fallen. Rainfall is becoming lighter in the advisory area. However, runoff may still result in additional street flooding in some locations. Some locations that will experience flooding include... West Columbia, Sweeny, Brazoria, Wild Peach Village and Damon. http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
