* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...East Central Cameron County in deep south Texas... * WHEN...Until 845 PM CDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Overflowing poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... At 739 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2.5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. Some locations that will experience flooding include... South Padre Island, Holly Beach, Laguna Vista Police Department, Laguna Heights, Port Isabel High School, Port Isabel City Hall, Port Isabel Lighthouse, Port Isabel Fire And Police Department, South Padre Island Convention Center, Beach Access Five, Beach Access Four, South Padre Island Birding Center, Garria Elementary School, Beach Access Six, Washington Park, South Padre Island Police Department, U.s.
