At 514 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated very heavy rain due to thunderstorms moving across the area. Radar estimates rainfall rates as high as 4 inches per hour are occurring with these storms. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen in the past hour. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Some locations that will experience flooding include... Sherman, Gainesville, Bowie, Whitesboro, Nocona, Denison, Pilot Point, Van Alstyne, Howe, Pottsboro, Collinsville, Whitewright, Muenster, Gunter, Bells, Tom Bean, St. Jo and Lindsay.
