* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of southeast Texas, including the following county, Harris. * WHEN...Until 530 PM CDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... At 336 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Up to 2 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 2 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. Some locations that will experience flooding include... Galena Park, Jacinto City, Second Ward, Greater Fifth Ward, Greater Eastwood, Downtown Houston, Greater Third Ward, Near Northside Houston, Macgregor, Golfcrest / Bellfort / Reveille, Denver Harbor / Port Houston, Magnolia Park, Lawndale / Wayside, Pleasantville Area, Clinton Park Tri- Community, Kashmere Gardens, Gulfgate Riverview / Pine Valley, Pecan Park, Harrisburg / Manchester and Settegast. http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
