* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Western Kane County in southern Utah... * WHEN...Until 1145 PM MDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Water over roadways. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... At 848 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.75 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. Some locations that will experience flooding include... Mainly rural areas of Western Kane County, primarily along US-89 north of Kanab and adjacent back roads. http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
