* WHAT...Minor flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Eastern Carroll County in southwestern Virginia... South Central Pulaski County in southwestern Virginia... * WHEN...Until 615 PM EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying areas and along Big Reed Island Creek. Some low-water crossings may become impassable as flows along the creek are running high. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... At 120 PM EDT, minor flooding is occurring along Big Reed Island Creek due to between 3 and 4 inches of rain that occurred between Saturday morning and this morning. Water levels will remain high through this afternoon, and will begin to recede by early evening. This includes the following streams and drainages... Island Creek, Burks Fork, Grassy Creek, Kings Run, Deepwater Creek, Birds Branch and Johnson Creek. Some locations that will experience flooding include... Allisonia and Laurel Fork.
