The Flood Advisory will expire at 6 PM EDT this evening for portions of southwest Virginia, including the following area, Giles and southeast West Virginia, including the following areas, Mercer, Monroe and Summers. Flood waters have receded. The heavy rain has ended. Flooding is no longer expected to pose a threat. Please continue to heed remaining road closures.
