What the bulletin says to do
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Flooding is occurring or is imminent. It is important to know where you are relative to streams, rivers, or creeks which can become killers in heavy rains. Campers and hikers should avoid streams or creeks. Please report observed flooding to local emergency services or law enforcement and request they pass this information to the National Weather Service when you can do so safely.

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...Southwestern Fremont County in central Wyoming... * WHEN...Until 830 PM MDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Rises in small streams and normally dry arroyos. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... At 622 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain with rainfall rates of 1" to 1.5"/hr due to another round of thunderstorms. Between 3 and 4.5 inches of rain have already fallen. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. This includes the following streams and drainages... South Fork Squaw Creek, Squaw Creek, Middle Popo Agie River, Roaring Fork Creek, Tayo Creek, Sheep Creek, Deep Creek and Shoshone Creek. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 1.5 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. Some locations that will experience flooding include...
