What the bulletin says to do
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Remain alert for flooding even in locations not receiving rain. Arroyos, streams, and rivers can become raging killer currents in a matter of minutes, even from distant rainfall. Please report observed flooding to local emergency services or law enforcement and request they pass this information to the National Weather Service when you can do so safely.

* WHAT...Arroyo and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...Southeastern Johnson County in north central Wyoming... * WHEN...Until 845 PM MDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Rises in small streams and normally dry arroyos. Water over roadways. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... At 624 PM MDT, WYDOT reported heavy rain in the advisory area due to thunderstorms. This is causing flooding on WY 192 between mp 10 and mp 11. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. Some locations that will experience flooding include... WY 192 between Kaycee and Sussex. http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
