Flooding is occurring or is imminent. It is important to know where you are relative to streams, rivers, or creeks which can become killers in heavy rains. Campers and hikers should avoid streams or creeks.

* WHAT...Small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Maricopa County in south central Arizona... * WHEN...Until 445 AM MST Monday. * IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... At 747 PM MST, gauge reports indicated elevated flows in area washes due to excess runoff from earlier rainfall. This includes the following streams and drainages... Blue Wash, Indian Spring Wash and Camp Creek. Some locations that will experience flooding include... Mainly rural areas of Maricopa County. http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
