* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Archuleta County in southwestern Colorado... * WHEN...Until 330 PM MDT Sunday. * IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Numerous roads remain closed due to flooding. Low-water crossings are inundated with water and may not be passable. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... At 325 PM MDT, emergency management reported heavy rain in the warned area due to thunderstorms. Flooding is ongoing. Between 2 and 4 inches of rain have fallen since Thursday morning. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are possible in the warned area. This could cause additional rises within rivers, creeks and streams. Some locations that will experience flooding include... Pagosa Springs, Lonetree, Chimney Rock, Juanita, Gato, Pagosa Junction, Chromo and Arboles. http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
