Reports of mudslide on Interstate 70 near Dowds Junction. * WHERE...East Central Eagle County in west central Colorado, along Interstate 70 from mile marker 165 to 175... * WHEN...Until 800 PM MDT. * IMPACTS...Flooding over roadways and Interstate 70 is imminent or occurring. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... At 506 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Flooding is ongoing in the warned area. Between 0.5 and 1 inch of rain has fallen. Some locations that will experience flooding include... Avon, Vail, Minturn, Edwards, Eagle-Vail and Dowd. http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
