* WHAT...Urban areas and small streams flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Northwestern Mesa County in west central Colorado... * WHEN...Until 700 PM MDT. * IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... At 402 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the warned area. Between 0.7 and 1 inch of rain has fallen. This includes the following streams and drainages... Big Salt Wash, Adobe Creek and Little Salt Wash. Some locations that will experience flooding include...
