* WHAT...Small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Southern Mineral County in south central Colorado... Western Rio Grande County in south central Colorado... * WHEN...Until 345 AM MDT Friday. * IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Rock falls are occuring in the steeper terrain. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... At 639 PM MDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain. Flooding is already occurring in the warned area. Between 1 and 3.5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 2 inches are possible in the warned area. Some locations that will experience flooding include... Wolf Creek Pass and the creeks and streams flowing into the San Juan River. Highway 160 over Wolf Creek Pass is closed due to flooding. http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
